DICO Lineamec Romania is the DICO Group’s production site located in Craiova, in southern Romania.
Founded in 2005, it was established with the goal of offering an industrial solution capable of combining competitive production costs with high quality standards.
The plant operates according to the methods, processes, and standards of the DICO Group, with constant supervision and a structured transfer of Italian know-how, acting as a fully integrated production extension within the group.
The Craiova production facility is modern and organized across multiple shifts, with production capacity exceeding 140.000 hours per year and more than 20 CNC machining centers.
Activities include precision mechanical machining such as vertical and horizontal CNC milling, CNC and conventional turning, internal and external grinding, and welding of mechanical structures and components, mainly in aluminum, steel, and industrial plastic materials.
This configuration ensures production continuity, operational flexibility, and process reliability.
Over time, the Romanian site has developed a solid network of local suppliers and partners, enabling the offering to be completed with complementary processes such as heat and chemical treatments, painting, and the production of castings intended for subsequent mechanical machining.
Collaboration with the University of Craiova has facilitated access to academic research and highly qualified personnel, supporting steady and sustained growth.
